St. Anthony Festival Commission By-Laws

Article I - Name

The name of this society shall be the St. Anthony Italian Festival Society. The society is an independent entity sponsored and supported by a joint venture of the SMS and the Runseyville Sportsmen Club and their auxiliaries.

Article II - Objectives

The objectives of this society are:
1. To promote Italian culture and heritage
2. To promote charitable and religious activities
3. To contibute to community service

Article III - Membership

The membership of the society shall consist of 24 members here-in-after called the "Commissione". The St. Anthony Commissione shall consist of atleast 6 men and 3 women from each organization (SMS & Rumseyville). In addition, there shall be 3 members from each organization to be either a man or a woman. Presidents of each organization will rotate with commissione membership terminated upon end of term of office. Appointments to fill resigned commissione vacancies will be make by the corresponsing presidents, and reported to the commissione 60 days prior to the annual meeting.

Article IV - Officers and Management

Section I - The officers of this society shall consist of the following:
   - President
   - Vice President
   - Secretary
   - Treasurer

Section II - The term of office of the officers shall be one year or until their successors are duly elected. Each year shall be the same as the fiscal year that is November 1 to October 31.

Section III - The President shall be the chief executive officer and shall preside at all meetings, and shall be an ex-office member of all committees. He shall in addition, generally supervise the management of the affairs of the society and perform such duties as are incident to the office.
